Hybrid

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am going to be talking about the fashion brand Hybrid.

Hybrid was first established in 2010 and since then has become a well renowned global fashion brand. Hybrid is known for its effortless, sophisticated and timeless designs. This fashion brand is driven by innovation and commitment to new and exciting ideas, and at the same time promotes affordable and luxurious collections that are inspired by the contemporary market. Hybrid uses fabrics that flatter the natural curves of the body. Hybrid currently sells to over three hundred independent boutiques as well as well-known department stores. If online shopping is your preference, they can be found on ASOS.

This company really do have a good selection of dresses, from bodycon dresses to skater dresses there really is a good option for every occasion. If you prefer simple colours or more out there adventurous designs, then this brand is for you.

As a petite female I find it very difficult getting clothing to fit me perfectly. I usually have to get them altered or put up with things not being quite right. It isn’t a great look and this is the area I am looking to try and tackle- petite clothing. I aim to try and find companies who actually DO cater for the smaller female.

Keeping this in mind when I looked at Hybrid’s dresses they do come with great measurement guides which is always a necessity when you have a small frame etc. Some designs look great but when they are put on myself it just drowns me. I am always scared to try new designs just for those reasons of it looking way too big for me or not fitting right.

However, I found great delight with Hybrid. The customer service is amazing and they go out of their way to try and help you. I found that their communication and updates with delivery were a great asset. I was able to achieve a new goal and try a new shape of dress on myself. I was a bit anxious. When the dress arrived it was very well presented. The quality of material used to make the dress was of a high standard as well. You can tell they are very well made. The dress I chose was the Hybrid Crissy Black Floral Printed Soft Crepe Dress, was £105.00 now £35.00. The detail and design are perfect. I was over the moon with this dress and felt that it was versatile and could be worn to many events and occasions that I have coming up. Every girl loves a little black dress and this one was my new favourite.

To show this fantastic dress off I decided to take it to the harbour over at Tayport, Fife. Here are the results, I think you’ll agree that this dress is a winner.

My worries about it being different to anything I have worn before were non-existent due to it being a very good fit. It was almost as if it were a glove that’s how well it felt on. I felt that the fabric did bring out my curves and it still looked very sophisticated. The dress was not too long on myself and I was able to move freely in it, the reason I mentioned this is, this dress is a pencil fit which usually restricts movement.

I cannot recommend Hybrid highly enough and feel that you all should check them out for yourselves. The moment you set eyes on the beautiful outfits you instantly fall in love.
